GSAP Membership Requirements
To become an active or affiliate member of GSAP, you must join the National Association of Parliamentarians (NAP), GSAP's parent organization.
Provisional members of GSAP Units do not have to join NAP until they are ready to become an active member. Provisional members can be members of GAP, but they must also be a member of a local unit.

Dues
Annual dues for a unit and student member are $20
Annual dues for a member at large are $20
Dues for all members except provisional members, are billed by the National Association of Parliamentarians.
Be sure your mailing address is correct by checking the member directory on the NAP Website or by calling NAP headquarters at 888-627-2929.
UM: Unit Member is a primary member of a unit within a state association
MAL: Member at Large of the state / province association does not belong to a unit
SM: Student Member - Enrolled in an academic institution as a full-time student & age 25 or younger or who is in military service
NAP Membership
There are three easy steps to become a member of NAP
1. Complete the membership application.
2. Pay your first year's pro-rated dues.
3. Successfully complete the membership exam.
